Introduction

In this support article, we walk you through logging into your account for the first time (and future times) and creating your first user.

Logging into WatchMyDC

If it is your very first time accessing your WatchMyDC account, navigate to -

WatchMyDC Dashboard

Register your account on WatchMyDC

If this is the first time you're accessing the dashboard, you will have to create an account using the Register Now link located at the bottom of the login screen. Once you've filled in the details as displayed in the form below, a verification email will be sent to the email account which you used to register the account. Click the Verify link to verify your account.

You may now utilize the created credentials to log in to your account, using the page displayed above and you're all set!

Forgotten Password

In the case of a forgotten password, click the Forgot Password link located in the lower right of the login screen. You will be prompted to enter an email. A link containing a temporary password reset URL will then be sent to the associated email account.

Note: The password reset URL will only remain active for 15 minutes.

 

Remember Me

Checking the “Remember Me” option will keep your user session open, even when no user activity has been detected for an extended period of time. This is particularly useful if you use the account to display dashboards on a NOC screen.

If you leave the “Remember Me” option unchecked, your session will time out automatically when a specified length of inactivity has been detected. This specified length of inactivity is set as a universal default from the Portal Settings tab of the Account Information page.
